Living in Winter Thinking of Spring

It's only December but my mind is already in Spring!  Can't blame me for wanting to skip Winter when it's so colorful in the Spring with all kind of blooms.

Let's start with the first bloom of Spring - Ume Blossom.
Ume is Japanese word for plum.  Plum trees can blossom as early as February.  They look very similar to cherry blossom which happens usually in the early April.

Sweet Pea

 Wild Honeysuckle

    1. Thanks Diva Soap! I do usually blend my own colors. The dark fuchsia in Ume Blossom is a mix of 3 different micas and dyes!

    1. The dark fuschia on Ume Blossom top is a mix of 3 mica & dyes. It is dispersed in oil then drizzle on wet soap top to get that intensive color.

  5. Beautiful soaps, Emily! I always find myself thinking one season ahead with my soaps, too, so they have plenty of time to cure. I love the black and purple together in the Ume Blossom, and the swirls in the Sweet Pea and Wild Honeysuckle are gorgeous!
